All posters, including student presentations, will be located in Hall F of the Colorado Convention Center and will be displayed 9:30 a.m., Monday, May 24 through 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 26.
Presenters must
1. Check in with staff in the Speaker Ready Room, to obtain a set-up/dismantle pass.
2. Set up their poster on
- Sunday, May 23, from Noon–6:00 p.m., OR
- Monday, May 24, 7:00 a.m.–8:30 a.m.
- Presenters who are unable to set up or dismantle posters within the specified times should make arrangements to have a colleague assist them in doing so.
3. Dismantle their poster between 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26. Materials left beyond 1:30 p.m. will be discarded.
Posters will be grouped numerically by category. Assignments will be posted beginning in April. Please check back for your poster session number and assignment.
Authors are required to be present to discuss their posters and research on the following dates:
- Monday, May 24
- Poster Session 401, 10:00 a.m.–noon
- Poster Session 402, 2:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, May 25
- Poster Session 403, 10:00 a.m.–noon
- Poster Session 404, 1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, May 26
- Poster Session 405, 10:00 a.m.–noon (graduate and undergraduate students)
- Awards, 11:50 a.m.–noon
Awards:
In addition to numerous committee awards, awards will be given for the Best of Session and Best Conference Posters Award winners will be recognized at the AIHce and announced in The Synergist.
- Judging: Monday, May 24, 9:00 a.m.–10:30 a.m.
- Awards will be posted on individual posters on Monday, May 24, at 11:50 a.m.
- Winners should be present for photographs on Monday, May 24, at noon
Preparing poster presentations
- Posters must exhibit a professional look.
- Visuals must conform to the interior dimensions of the board (44.5" high ´ 91" wide).
- A heavy board or backing should not be used as these materials will not adhere to the display panels.
- The poster should have the title and name(s) of the author(s) at the top.
- All lettering should be a minimum of one inch high.
- All illustrations, charts, tables, and drawings must be simple and clear. Heavy lines and color should be used for emphasis.
- All information should be readable from a distance of three feet. Material should be displayed in a logical sequence; arrows or numbers should be used to direct readers.
- Handouts that supplement the research should be provided (a shared table will be available for distribution). Presenter business cards may also be displayed. The presenter is responsible for the development, shipment, and display of handouts.
- Permanent adhesives are prohibited; Velcro and pushpins are provided on-site for mounting.
