Participate in everything – blog, tweet, chat on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, attend your alumni or local section event, participate in a Volunteer Group meeting, join the Brew Pub Crawl, talk to people you don’t know – there are numerous opportunities to network with colleagues before and during AIHce.
Develop your AIHce Social Network. Use the Attendee Locator to see who is attending and connect months before conference. Communicate your challenges, catch up with a colleague, organize a meeting, or gather a group for dinks or dinner.
Follow AIHce on Facebook. Read what colleagues are saying about the conference and contribute your thoughts. Visit the AIHce 2010 Facebook Fan Page.
Check the Message/Cyber Center on site for notes from colleagues. Schedule a meeting or organize a social gathering with friends.
Spend time in the Expo. Talk with exhibitors and learn about new products and services, browse the technical posters, see the special displays. Meet colleagues at the opening cocktail reception, grab a cup of coffee, check your e-mail, or relax in one of the lounges.
Attend a Luncheon Discussion. These informal, small group discussions are facilitated by NIOSH researchers and technical staff and AIHA® technical committee representatives. Discussions focus on high-interest topics in research and technical content.
Join a Technical Tour and expand your conference experience beyond the classroom. Meet fellow IHs with similar interests and get a first hand look at IH at work.
